Review of The French Connection (1971) by Franz H — 22 Oct 2015
A classic, one of the greats. Gene Hackman was brilliant and perfect. The film broke new ground in its realistic, gritty portrayal of the New York City drug scene. The chase scene under the elevated train was also a classic.
A movie I can watch forever. If you haven't seen it you're missing one of the greats.
