Review of The FP (2011) by Robert H — 21 Feb 2013
This mind bogglingly dumb movie is incredibly funny. In a dystopian future two gangs are competing for dominance by playing DDR. Yep, it's truly that ridiculous a concept. It makes up for it by knowing it's ridiculous. And it gets some great lines out of it. Lines such as:
"How am I supposed to stand up for myself if I ain't got no one to stand up for me?".
And.
"If we don't got booze we don't have bums. And if there ain't no bums on benches who's gonna feed the ducks in the park?".
Or.
"Think with your mind, not your feet.".
I'm removing the profanity from them because otherwise they're incomprehensible. This film has some of the best bad gangster speak in filmic history. Often there are more swears than other words in a sentence. And most of them don't make sense.
