Surprisingly somber and far less upbeat then one would think, given the spirited nature of the front. Nothing's wrong with that, but the movie spends a lot more time on the depressing stuff then on the happy aspects.
It's idea is strong, it's just not strongly conveyed. And the songs are unmemorable.
