Review of The Fox and the Hound (1981) by Jeremy B — 19 Jun 2016
This movie, unlike all other Disney movies, excluding Zootopia, has the factors of animal nature in a movie, and it's not filled with magical moments. It's instead filled with real life hunts, and feuds between a sweet, lovely woman, and a cocky, arrogant hunter.
Disney was going through a really tough time, and they did whatever to do to avoid bankruptcy. This is a fantastic comeback for Disney before they started dominating the Academy Awards best Animated Feature.
This movie also gave Brad Bird, Tim Burton, and John Lasseter a huge jumpstart on their animation skills.
