Review of The Fox and the Hound (1981) by Suneel J — 16 Nov 2011
Underrated disney classic. A light-hearted film with a rather serious tone underlying the jokes and the depiction of nature in an elegant and colourful mood. It shows the struggles that one can partake in when faced with a moral dilemma between loyalty and friendship.
The film leaves you with a good feeling, yet it does not have a typically perfect Disney ending. It concludes with a more realistic ending that should satisfy you with the notion that life can never go back to the way it used to be.
The sequel is not worth your time.
