Review of The Fountain (2006) by Nate G — 12 Apr 2012
The Fountain was pretty much depressing from start to finish. With that being said - I thought it was brilliantly put together. Aronofsky played out the timeline perfectly of this film and even to the end you wonder which reality of the whole thing is more real.
Hugh Jackman really brought his A game to this one and it payed off. He was believable and he was extremely affective. This was also a very original script which is very rare nowadays. I loved the way that the two separate stories were parallel throughout the whole movie on various different levels.
