I was originally turned onto this film after watching an interview with Danny McBride in character on Conan. It was a very funny interview, so I thought the movie might have some merit. Wrong.
The King of the Demo offered a chuckle occasionally through his portrayal of peewee Tae Kwon Do programs, but there is nothing deeper than physical comedy here. You can only laugh at a guy getting hit in the face so many times.
