Review of The Foot Fist Way (2006) by Simon W — 11 Feb 2009
It certainly ain't no Napoleon Dynamite which it is similar too, but it is at times very funny in the end quite touching. Also considering the buget it is quite well made with a couple of fight scene being pulled off very believably.
As far as Danny McBride goes, this is his show and he does carry it well enough but I'm just a little tired of his brand of humour: The whole improv, mumble your way through a scene untill something funny comes out.
To my mind he's the latest in a line of comedy that's pretty much seen it's day.
