Review of The Fog of War (2003) by Asim D — 11 Mar 2004
So here we are on the christening of my column, which in the end I'll probably only post a couple of times and then disappear into the ether. Positive thinking, eh?
Well, sitting at work at the nameless theatre with not much going on, so I start a fantastic journal. I've done one of the blogs on another site with full intention to be the most interesting, mind-blowing blog out there. Needless to say, that died after about a week. We'll see what happens.
For a theatre manager, I'm embarassed to say how few movies I've seen lately. I used to see practically everything that came out, but I guess that what marriage and fatherhood will do to you. Not that I'm knocking them, mind you. But they tend to take away free time. Boy, that's selfish-sounding, isn't it?
I did see The Fog of War a few days ago, and I really enjoyed it. I must say that I'm not necessarily on top of my game when it comes to history, but I could still follow the things they were talking about. The guy's got a lot of stories to tell in his years, that's for sure.
Guess that's it for now. We'll see if I come back.
