Review of The Fog of War (2003) by Ks G — 23 Dec 2007
An illuminating interview of one of the premier technocrats of the twentieth century American foreign policy - for all that McNamara said, didn't say and tried to avoid saying. It is at once evasive and honest - an intelligent man who has arrived at a point in his life when he has exhausted all hubris and have come to terms with life. Perhaps nothing is actually quite within one's control and all events in one's life can just as easily be attributed to the vague notion of "fate".
P/s Philip Glass's score for the soundtrack of the film is at once familiar and effective.
