Review of The Fog of War (2003) by David R — 03 Jul 2012
Robert McNamara was U.S. Secretary of during the Cold War and Vietman eras. A high controversial figure during his term, he now recounts the decisions that were made, the political climate surrounding those events.
Of special interest are sound clips and footage of former administrations during the decision-making process. The stylized editing and cinematography is enough to keep anyone on their toes (which is impressive, considering this is a documentary), and the haunting score by Philip Morris only adds to the surrealness of this film.
