Pretty poor, even by already-very-low horror movie standards. Decent cast and production values makes it seem A-grade, when it's worse than B-grade schlock-horror. Very dull, unimaginative and unengaging.
I only vaguely recall John Carpenter's original 1980 version, but that was heaps better than this.
