Review of The Flying Scotsman (2006) by Sean C — 26 Mar 2010
In this past week I have been catching up with a backlog of movies I had yet to watch. Its worth noting that the two that stood head and shoulders above the rest were both British! The other was the life affirming Sparkle and here's a true story that does the same.
Jonny Lee Miller excels as the record-breaking Graeme Obree, making you route for him and feel for him during his ghastly bouts of depression. He is well supported by Billy Boyd as his manager/friend and nice to see British treasure Brian Cox so happy to take on such a small but pivotal role.
Uplifting stuff!
