The obvious precursor to Volver, the script for which is mentioned in the film! I love Marisa Paredes in this role of a hard drinking, man-like strong woman who shows real emotion, charactyer and depth to every Almodovar character she plays! A truly lovely film and one of Almodovars most obvious and accessible!
