I can't understand how this movie got such great reviews because it's possibly the worst movie I've seen in a long time. it was boring, it had basically no plot, and the characters were completely unlikable, with the exception of the hotel manager who tried to do his best in many awful situations, I spent the entire movie hating the little girls mother who had no redeeming qualities and the maturity of a 13 year old.
The little girl was cute at times but you soon realize that this child is a mean spirited brat who's being groomed to grow up like her mother and you come out of the movie disliking her also. Honestly, you wonder why this little girl was not taken in to DCYF custody along time ago.
The distribution of this movie is totally misleading. "A Summer Break filled with childhood wonder" is not even close to describing this movie. Save your money.
