Review of The Florida Project (2017) by Jesse G — 27 Mar 2018
The Florida Project is an impressive feat, but it's not that easy to see it that way, that's how real it is. Addressing themes such as youth, parenting, and social class, this film is almost a documentary, as director Sean Baker has guided his actors towards becoming a part of this environment, as well as balancing the perspectives of each character extremely well.
This is the most important film of the year.
