Review of The Florida Project (2017) by J. J — 29 Dec 2017

Had no idea what to expect from this film, but found myself quickly swept up into it, wishing it would keep going. I'm not a big fan of kids in films, but these little tykes gave some fearless, believable performances and they gradually win you over completely.

Willem Dafoe's (no usually a fan) performance was deftly nuanced, giving you depth and complexity that grabs you and doesn't let go. Definitely worth watching!
