Review of The Florida Project (2017) by Jason E — 23 Dec 2017
I've never seen a more realistic and natural portrayal of Children in a movie. The film drops you into a world made up of people who live in budget motels outside the Florida Amusement parks and brilliantly allows you to come to your own opinion about each character. The performances from everyone feels so natural it felt like a documentary and I wondered how much was improvised. I will say it has a very unorthodox style and doesn't follow a traditional plot structure but it's a film that will stay with you long after it's ended.
See it or Skip It.
See it for the Oscar worthy performances throughout and an experience like no other film I've seen this year. Don't be shocked if this is nominated for Best picture.
