Review of The Finest Hours (2016) by Chip K — 18 Feb 2016
A pretty good thriller but it happens slowly. This is a very slow going movie. Nothing takes place fast. The CG water effects were obvious but the scenes on the coast guard boat were so unrealistic but still pretty awesome to watch.
It is amazing to see how the people on the half of an oil tanker were able to manage. Don't really know any of the actors but they were ok. And where the hell was the title screen? At the end of course; I'm gonna punch the editor who put it there.
Finally, I liked the setting back in the 50's. I am not a fan of the 50's but the type of hairstyle those sailors' where is really cool. I would go see it if you like slow thrillers like Das Boot.
