Review of The Fighter (2010) by Luna G — 01 Jul 2014
I am by no means an Amy Adams or Mark Wahlberg fan, but they definitely knocked it out of the park in this film. Christian Bale also earned his Oscar with this film. The story, atmosphere, drama, and simply everything about it was amazing.
Now if only it could work on being a little bit more accurate. I've read that the family the film depicted felt that they were spiced up for Hollywood drama. Now I do not know if that is true or not, but if it did get complaints, I feel that I have to give it the score that I did.
