How this film didn't get a "professional" critic to review it is beyond me. This movie is excellent and had me tearing up when I caught it on the Sundance channel. Not a typical actioner at all.
It's very deep and uses action elements as symbols and metaphors in a complicated interplay displaying and resolving cultural conflict between traditional Muslim Turkish and Danish (or was it German?) liberal white culture.
A masterful piece of work. It's only possible weakness - somewhat overstylized and melodramatic fight sequences.
