The Favourite featured incredible acting. Emma Stone's character was my favorite to root for, but Olivia Colman's acting was insanely good; she will probably win the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy.
I wanted to love the movie more than I actually loved it, though. There were a few scenes that seemed weird just for the sake of being weird that didn't enhance the movie for me and made it too long (one scene in particular involves throwing fruit).
The movie ends on a "Be careful what you wish for" note - clever, but very odd.
