Review of The Family Fang (2016) by Josh A — 05 May 2016
Bateman's second go-around in the director's chair shows off more of his versatility with an even darker, weirder, weightier, equally misanthropic film, and it delivers emotional heft, thanks in large part to its key acting performances, with Walken's being particularly on-point.
However, the plodding, disjointed script isn't written with quite enough confidence or coherence to drive its points home with authority.
