Review of The Fallen Idol (1948) by Jez M — 12 Sep 2012
A simple plot revolving around a small child's shattered trust after witnessing a woman's death. The camera work is exemplary and the acting mostly the same. Bobby Henrey as Phillipe grates at times, and as the lead this does present a problem.
Always the risk with child actors.
