Catinca Untaru is remarkable as the little girl in this film. There were some points where I wanted to throttle her through the screen, that is how well she played a sometimes very annoying child! But this movie was great, full of anger and despair, but also filled with hope.
Beautiful scenery, and completely fantastical, but that is what made it so remarkable. Vivid is the best word I can think of to describe this film.
