A very difficult movie to rate. Undoubtedly a stunning visual feast (don't watch this on anything lower than HD), your ultimate acceptance of the film will depend on your acceptance of its final payoff.
What made it worked for me was the revelatory acting from then child actor Catinca Untaru. Bravo!
