A nice, quiet film with really great performances. Michelle Pfeiffer is dazzling during her musical scenes and her scenes with Jeff Bridges are lovely. Beau Bridges is wonderful and I'm surprised he missed out on many nominations while Pfeiffer took all the awards.
It's got a great score and a nice look but the story was a little slow pacing wise but it is still a really nice movie.
