Review of The Exterminator (1980) by Stevan S — 04 Aug 2011
I was expecting a lot more from this movie; I saw the trailer seeing some form of gritty action film. The DVD cover looked misleading but promising with that Mad Max esque getup that dude's wearing.
Instead, what I got was Death Wish and Taxi Driver with shallow context. The only things cool about the film were a couple of shots and edits that were quite unique. Robert Ginty who plays the title role looks like the love child of Paul McCartney and Christopher Walken, which I find quite amusing.
Overall, best watch if you want mindless entertainment.
