Review of The Exterminator (1980) by Richard D — 07 Feb 2016
A fairly sloppy film that doesn't really hang together well, but packed with so many fun and entertaining moments that I'm really inclined to give it a pass for not really making a whole lot of sense.
When the hero of the film kidnaps a mob boss and drops him into an industrial meat grinder, I don't have a serious concern if I'm not too sure why it happened. My one complaint is that Robert Ginty is a serious nothing as a screen presence.
I wish Steve James had been the star and Ginty had spent the whole film in a hospital bed.
