Review of The Exorcist III (1990) by Christine D — 03 Nov 2014
Lt. Kinderman investigates a string of bizarre religious murders that are eerily similar to The Gemini killer who was executed 15 years before. Even more bizarre is their connection to the possession of the young girl Regan MacNeil in 1973.
I skipped the Exorcist II: The Heretic because all the reviews have it listed as a total dumpster fire. This is a completely different kind of movie than the original. It's more of a murder mystery with shocks and scares of a religious slasher. Featuring a great performance by the always dynamic George C. Scott. The final showdown is all verbal, but still one of the best and more chilling acting in a horror movie. Look for cameos by Patrick Ewing & Fabio, of all people.
