Review of The Exorcist III (1990) by Cameron L — 28 Oct 2010
Peter Blatty returns after writing the original Exorcist to adpat another one of his books in the series and actually directs this one. George C Scott plays the detective that seems to be finding murders that are committed by a killer that has been dead since the events of the first Exorcist film.
All the new targets seem to have ties with the church and an inmate in the hospital that has an uncanny resembulence to father Karras and of the serial killer known as the Gemini Killer. All signs are pointed to evil, but how is this dead man back and how does he commit all his crimes from a heavily armed room.
With loads of gore, great acting, and a new type of plot this is the second best Exorcist film ever made.
