Review of The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005) by Jarkko T — 08 Oct 2010
I guess the idea of this movie, suffering from the obvious comparison, started at a disadvantage before the first minute of it hit the screen but, that fact notwithstanding, Emily Rose is bit of a lost gem.
It's atmospheric and thoughtful, with a great cast to boot, and the director Derrickson certainly has a few tricks up his sleeve -- just as he did with Hellraiser: Inferno, another widely neglected horror feature.
Try it out.
