Though not terrifying like its marketing campaign suggested, "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" is an immensely fascinating court drama, and a fitting entry in the exorcism sub-genre. The performances are terrific, the script is sharp, and we feel genuinely attached to the stories being told.
It's the best "Exorcist" since the original.
