Shouldn't a scary movie be... scary? I dunno' about you guys, but aside from some fairly creepy imagery, Emily Rose is very tame. The movie seems to be more focused on the courtroom drama more than the scares, which is both it's blessing and curse; the movie is more courtroom TV show than it is a horror film.
Some nice performances round out the cast, but I spent the majority of the film just hoping we'd get more of possessed Emily Rose and away from the courtroom drama. It never really happened.
