My absolute favourite ghost movie. I compare every paranormal flick to it and so far nothing has made me more frightened of ghosts & hauntings. It makes The Ring look like Heidi or Paranormal Activity seem like Christmas With the Kranks.
I'm not too sure how it stands up today effects-wise, like if you were just seeing it for the first time with eyes that have seen the wonders of films like Avatar. Everything else about this film is absolutely chilling & nightmarish.
