Review of The Enforcer (1976) by Dj . — 22 Jul 2009
Not as good as the first two films, but still pretty enjoyable. If you don't mind how dated this feels, it's not a bad movie. These Dirty Harry movies from the 70's are getting so old that they've become like the Western genre. You don't watch it for the action or the special effects. You watch it for the stone cold characters, the old suits, and the one liners.
The female partner plotline added a lot to the film. A particularly good scene by Clint Eastwood as he's ranting about passing up cops that've been on the street for 10 years and giving the job to a woman who hasn't made an arrest. Good stuff.
