Review of The Enforcer (1976) by Patrick M — 14 Dec 2011
This was a really good action movie. There is plenty of action and though the villains may not be quite as interesting or menacing as Scorpio was, this is a very entertaining movie with some great action scenes anchored by a great character.
Inspector Harry Callahan is as interesting as ever, this time partnered with a woman. He's upset about it but we also see him change as a character, albeit slightly. As with the first "Dirty Harry" film, I enjoyed this very much as a film that shows the world upside-down in crime, with one man (and in this case also one woman) willing to stand against the system.
While far from realistic, it's extremely entertaining.
