Review of The End of Violence (1997) by Kai S — 30 Jan 2008
I absolutely love to hate this film, which is why it gets 5 stars.
Here's what led me to rent this: I have a pre-existing hatred of Andie McDowell's acting and Bill Pullman's acting. So, I thought, why not search for a movie they both have in common? The search yielded this film.
I was not disappointed: Putting the two of them together in the same scene, is as entertaining as watching paint dry.
However, Gabriel Byrne and Udo Kier were awesome! I love those guys. It's too bad they didn't have the leading roles.
