Review of The Emperor's Club (2002) by Jacques S — 04 Jun 2007
Underrated film, and unfairly linked to the Dead Poet's Society. Kevin Kline gives a magical performance as William Hundert, the beloved St. Benedict's teacher. The story follows Mr. Hundert's Western Civilization Class during a mid 70s year and Kline's struggles with a certain student.
It also shows the struggles of Hundert dealing with the changes of time and tradition.
