Powerful. Beautiful. Inspirational. Incredible.
A Victorian surgeon rescues a heavily disfigured man who is mistreated while scraping a living as a side-show freak. Behind his monstrous facade, there is revealed a person of intelligence and sensitivity.
Overall review:
A very powerful movie indeed. It starts with a bang and keeps one interested from beginning to end, with brilliant acting, wonderful directing, a moody score, and with messages of strength and courage against the forces of evil.
I give my utmost recommendation for this film.
