I always thought Dylan Thomas's work was very stylish and clever but with no heart and now I can see why. A very watchable and entertaining film but what a totally selfish, sleazy, nasty man he's portrayed as.
Was he really as disgusting as that and if he was how come anyone hung around him long enough to be drawn down into his dark world? He loved no one but himself!
