Review of The Edge of Love (2008) by Alison O — 05 Apr 2011
Welsh poet Dylan Thomas' colourful love life is the subject of this 'based on a true story' biopic that's as much about friendship as the bigamous carryings on that took place under his roof.
Welshman Matthew Rhys delivers a convincing performance and Knightley's accent isn't half bad as the cabaret singer who first met a lovestruck Thomas in his adolescence. A bit disjointed but not half bad.
