Review of The Edge of Love (2008) by Monster . — 05 Oct 2010
Screenplay is great, so emotionally charged. There are no heroes, no good or bad characters, everybody is just a human with strenght and weakness. The story of four would be complicated enough but there is war time so it gets really messy and characters are changing in emotional level all the time. It would be great movie but I just feel it is miscast. Or maybe it is too hard to anyone to play such a characters.
Anyway I like how they brought war time London, I like costumes, decorations, photography, music. Wales countryside was brought good as well but there where actors really messed up with their characters.
To say the truth I expected something like Heads in the Clouds. It wasn't too bad but if I should suggest I would recommend to see that one.
