Review of The East (2013) by Svein P — 30 Nov 2013
'The East,' which is all about eco-terrorists and their contempt for corporate dinner parties, runs a fair risk of becoming preachy, but for the most part keeps its message movie sentiments under wraps. So that's good. There's some suspense, strong acting, a little moral ambiguity. It's not terribly engaging, though, and the slow pacing makes things a bit of a drag.
--6.3/10--.
