The Duke boys return to the new moe-lennium and bring all their old shenanigans with them! This hillbillie ragtag team fight to save their land from the old, waning Boss Hogg, who uses the silliest scheme to get his strip mining operation approved. But alas, the Dukes were never about telling a "good" story, so I decided to put my critical analysis typically reserved for "gems" like this and focus on some of my favourite moments.

EASILY my favourite part had to been the scene with the campus police pulling over the Dukes for speeding. Ripping one of the funniest scenes from his hilarious 2002 comedy SUPER TROOPERS, Jay Chandrasekhar effectively translates the scene to fit the canvas of the screenplay. After all, you can't speed...errr under-speed on campus!!

Also, I really enjoyed all the car chase scenes. They're not quite up there with the visceral experience of the Bourne chase scenes, but hey, not bad from the director of the Broken Lizard movies!! I was very happy to see all my favourite Broken Lizard guys in there too!!

Overall, if you watch American Pie, any Jackass segment (BMX JOUST!!) and any Jessica Simpson music video before 2006, you'll get the entertainment value of this movie. Its fun while you see it, but the next day? Buuuh you'll forget about it :p.

However, for fun times, I suggest a drinking game. A shot everytime the General Lee takes damage. You WON'T last the whole movie!!!
