Despite an utterly goofy plot, the idiotic performances of Johnny Knoxville and Jessica Simpson, and a whole lot of other things that make the movie appear unwatchable, the film is surprisingly watchable.
The humor and car chase scenes are just funny and awesome enough that you'll still want to watch the film no matter how dumb you think it is. Cars and humor is all it has. But in this case, who cares?
