Review of The Duellists (1977) by Andrew M — 07 Feb 2010
A wonderful looking and wonderfully simple tale of two men of honour, duelling their way through the Napoleonic wars across some breathtaking vistas. No real flab involved in this story, just pure unadulterated conflict.
Keitel's cold hearted officer is chillingly ruthless and Scott's direction closer to his colder, early output.
