Review of The Duellists (1977) by Andy S — 08 Aug 2010
Beautiful, utterly unique, historical drama is Ridley Scott's first feature and still one of his best. His trademark exquisite framing and lighting are already in place and perfectly suit the the austere, cerebral story.
Keitel and Carradine are strange casting choices for the leads but both equate themselves well. Good film.
