Review of The Double Life of Véronique (1991) by Boris M — 25 Jun 2007
Crushingly dull and vaguely annoying. There wasn't a single moment during The Double Life of Veronique that I felt even remotely involved with what was going on, and that is a Cardinal Sin for a movie in my book.
There are some directors who possess a style that rubs me the wrong way, and Krzysztof Kieslowski is definitely one of them.
