Review of The Dirty Dozen (1967) by Armando P — 09 Jul 2011
I loved this movie. Some of the characters were very unsavory, but that was the point. It was slow-moving as they built the story and molded the characters into real soldiers, but it was never boring. They probably could have chopped out a good 30-40 minutes of the group proving themselves fit for their mission, but it didn't detract or drag the story down.
And there was a surprisingly exiting and explosive end to the film. Not to mention a lot of actors who would go on to become big name stars.
